Stylplex &nlcomp® sign a partnership

Stylplex and Northern Light Composites (nlcomp®) have signed an agreement for the production of molds and components for the nautical sector in 3D additive printing.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the nautical manufacturing sector. Thanks to this synergy, the two companies aim to revolutionize the mold production process, improve its efficiency, reduce costs and minimize its environmental impact.

Production molds are a significant challenge for shipyards: they have a very limited life cycle and high end-of-life management costs. Currently, companies find themselves forced to abandon them, in the absence of effective solutions for their recovery or reuse in new applications.

In this partnership, nlcom® will bring its knowledge of composite materials and the needs of the nautical sector. Stylplex, thanks to Genesi technology and the collaboration with Breton Spa, will provide the technical skills and solutions to create high quality and precision moulds.
