Machining Plexiglas® and derivatives

High technology and craftsmanship.
On one hand, the speed and precision of the most cutting-edge technologies. On the other hand, the experience and passion of manual working.
We combine these elements to ensure almost every type of processing of plastic materials and consistently high quality results.

precision machining
Plexiglas® laser cutting
Laser cutting allows precision machining to obtain objects of simple or very complex shapes.
Our latest-generation lasers guarantee smooth, quality cutting for both single and mass machining.

Numerical control work centres
Plexiglas® 5-3-axis CNC
We can handle a wide range of processes, from simple straight cuts to more complex shapes.
In fact, we have CNC numerical control work centres equipped with 5-axis milling cutters that, in addition to three-axis motion, can tilt and rotate the spindle.

greater gloss
Plexiglas® polishing
The polishing technique is used to give the material greater gloss and, in particular cases, is still carried out by hand.
Our technicians use rotary brushes and special pastes.
In other cases, we also have two surface grinding machines for polishing.

Variety of shapes and creations
Bending Plexiglas
Bending Plexiglas® allows durable, ergonomic and aesthetically striking objects to be obtained.
This type of machining is used to produce safety glass and accident prevention devices, as well as furnishing objects.
The forming takes place in an oven, where the plastic material is heated. Then the plastic is modelled using our own wooden contours and moulds.

multiple drilling machine
Plexiglas® drilling
We can make holes and slots on the thicknesses of plastic materials.
In fact, we have a multiple drilling machine consisting of 1 pantograph, 10 spindles for vertical drilling and 6 spindles for horizontal drilling.

Hot and cold bending
Bending Plexiglas®
We can bend plastic materials both hot and cold.
For hot bending we use heat resistance bending centres. We place the sheets on heat lines, along which they are bent. Next, we place the sheets on templates that define the degrees of the bend and on which they remain to cool and harden.
For cold bending we use a bending press that works the sheets mechanically.

shaping and profiling
Milling Plexiglas®
The milling technique allows even plastic materials that are refractory to laser cutting to be machined and given the desired shape.
It can be used to shape and profile certain elements made of Plexiglas® and other plastic derivatives.

traditional and UV gluing
Gluing Plexiglas®
We can glue plastics both through the traditional process, with single- and two-component glues, and through UV gluing.
Both techniques allow for the production of methacrylate gluing, both aesthetic and sealing, and the choice between butt or 45° gluing.
